We named our team name as DIGIMINDS. To intimate that we belong to Digital Engineering Department. We do our project under the guidance of Dr.-Ing. Sandro Schulze, Lecturer, Otto-von-Guericke Universitat Magdeburg.
GOAL:
Our main Goal of this project is to develop an app that helps the customer in their learning process or project work.
MOTIVATION:
A motive is an impulse that causes a person to act. Motivation is an internal process that makes a person move toward a goal. Motivation, like intelligence, can’t be directly observed. Instead, motivation can only be inferred by noting a person’s behaviour.
WORK AS A TEAM:
Team work multiplies success and makes the job easier. It maximises strengths and reduces weakness. It gives more fun working in a team.
CREATE AND MAINTAIN A TEAM:
Our next important motive is to maintain a team spirit. Team is like a family, where mutual support and trust are the most important values. Organize team activities both during working time and after. Half of success is obtained by creating and maintaining a powerful team spirit at the workplace. Teams frequently fail when they lack clarity of purpose. Without it, the level of effort and motivation suffer and disagreements or conflicts arise more easily. So, we need to maintain a team spirit by forming a well organised structure.
MANAGE EACH ONE INDIVIDUALLY:
Every person has their strengths and weaknesses. Someone may be amazing at public speaking, while the other one has great writing skills. So, we try to give each of us a chance to operate in the frames of our strengths, and we will be more confident and motivated in our activities.
SHARE VISION WITH EACH MEMBER
If everyone of us are aware of the collective vision, which will lead to prosperity and success of each team member, motivation and enthusiasm become the indivisible parts of all activities. We try to make sure that we continuously concentrate on the glory of reaching that powerful vision.
COMPLEMENTARY SKILLS:
These are skills in areas such as communication, leadership, management, professionalism, networking and self-promotion.
LEADERSHIP:
When working with others, team members need to clearly communicate their ideas and responses to others' ideas. For team members, collaboration skills are also key. Team members need to be able to work with others on a project and to give up part of the control they have over the project to their teammates. Finally, team members need to learn to give help to others while also being willing to receive constructive criticism and help themselves.
CO-OPERATION:
Co-Operation is nothing but voluntarily arrangement in which two or more entities engage in a mutually beneficial exchange instead of competing. Cooperation can happen where resources adequate for both parties exist or are created by their interaction. So, as a team we will co-operate in sharing and exchanging our thoughts.
MANAGEMENT:
Management includes several aspects like People Management, Time Management and Project Management. Prioritising the work schedule is the main key to success. We try to establish agendas, rules and procedures and to organize, plan and budget to make sure tasks are accomplished in a timely manner.
COMMUNICATION:
A team which does not communicate well is like an engine that has been broken down into its separate parts. There are three main forms of communication namely,
- Verbal communication
- Written communication
- Body language.
It is nothing but Face-to-Face interaction. Apart from this technology plays a vital role which can save time and help team members work more effectively.
ROLES AND RESPOSIBILITIES:
Unclear instructions and miscommunication are the cause of many problems at the work place. If team member is unsure exactly what is required of us, we are likely to flounder and will not complete the task within the given time. So, we try to divide ourselves our roles according to our preferences.
Team Leader – Guna Preeth
System Design – Karpagam Kannan
Implementation Processing – Akshay Jain
Programming – all 3 of us.
Apart from this we will actively participate in all roles and will execute the given task within the time.
TEAM COMMUNICATION:
The main aspects of Team Communication are Listening, building trust, concentrating on focus and control and also gaining confidence & influence. We would try to maintain this throughout our course process. Communication is the vital role between Team members & Customer and team.
Apart from this we have social medium like Whatsapp and mail for our communication purpose.
CHANGING CIRCUMSTANCES:
We would try to adapt to the current trends. And we would also try to take decisions according to our customer requirements. We would try to work on Iterative modelling aspect to adapt ourselves to the changing trends.
FUTURE WORK:
Our work would be working according to our customer needs with the updated trends. Hope we would try to complete the given task within the required time.
Thank you.
