Team Presentation
Welcome to our blog!
Team AllRight likes to describe about love and care to every single person in the world.
“The care of human life and happiness, not their destruction, is the first and only objective of being human.”

The logo express Eyes, the eye mean that we are watching for your loved one’s safety, the human holding hands represents that we also care about you.

The Team Name All Right reflects “No worries and everything goes well”- which everyone deserves for all the time.
Project
AllRight team is curious about the thought-provoking software development project called “Got Home Safely” where the objective is to develpe an android mobile app that automatically communicates that a peer got home safely after a Journey or a Party.
Team members and their motivation
“I felt the problem of unable to contact to my loved one’s during my journey to Germany, which I doesn’t want others to face the same situation.”
“I have always cherished and found myself fascinated to build and work with new ideas and their applications in the real world.”
“The pursuit of knowledge has always been the central force behind all my past experiences, where I could enhance my skills and contribute knowledge to the team.”
“I would like to have a first-hand experience in the world of software engineering by doing this project. This will enable me to apply these skills in solving Engineering problems. Working in a team enables me to share skills between the members and improve team work and inter personal skills.”
In addition, right from our school days we found ourselves enthralled by the intricacies of mathematics and computers and their application in the real world. Besides the involvement of mathematics and computers the versatility and exciting scope of software development made us think of pursuing the course Introduction to Software Engineering for Engineers under the guidance of Prof. Sandro Schulze.
Complementary Skills
AllRight Team has a good set of complementary skills.
The skill set of team members range from management skills, creative thinking, problem solving and analytical skills and finally programming skills. All of these are key in completing a software engineering project successfully.
We consider that it is important to devise the project work flow in a way which enables each of our team members to acquire skills in all phases of development and not just the one they choose to tackle.
Roles and Responsibilities
Each of our team member in turn, discuss and put their relative contribution to the effective functioning of the team: Individual may contribute unevenly and possess very different levels of teamwork skills like:
-
Sandeep being the SCRUM master who is responsible for removing obstruction of the team as he desires the project to work effectively and undisturbed as possible.
-
Baizil is in control of design since he has keen interest on graphics (diagrams).
-
Tony with his analysis and problem-solving skills will oversee the requirement analysis and system design.
-
Pankaj is accountable for the implementation and operations because he has ability to solve the problems in a computationally efficient manner.
-
In the addition to the above, the development and testing is answerable by Sandeep and Pankaj as both are familiar with programming. Regardless of the individual’s responsibilities, we designed carefully to involve each of the team member in complete life-cycle of the software development to accomplish the several milestones.
Communication
“Effective communication is a building block of successful project”.
Our team most commonly communicate through WhatsApp-group. File sharing is usually carried out on Google drive. Active and focused meetings are also held every week so that team members can discuss in details
The code is hosted on the GitHub repository so that any member of our team can work on coding. The most valuable method of communication of our team is ZenHub, every team member is charged in getting to know the current status of the project for transparency.
As communication is crucial factor for the success of a team, we give the most preference to it, in order to avoid the ultimate failure of the project.
Team Reaction to Changes
To manage our project we are using SCRUM. It is an agile framework for managing work and that makes it easier to implement changes in each stages of the project. Software development is a fast changing world and we are expecting changes through out the whole project. We have decided to prioritze the changes and implement those that are essential.
Conclusion
The course Introduction to Software Engineering for Engineers with its state of art and conducive to learning has always attracted us. We believe that the project under the supervision and our customer by Dr. Sandro Schulze will surely enable us to achieve success in the software development field in the future. We are confident to move ahead to the requirement and specification phase.
