Saving money and keeping track of the spending is a very hectic task, It’s always necessary for each one of us to track the money flow for efficient financial management. Our App “SmartBucks” will not only keep the track of money flow, but will also give a statistical analysis.”SmartBucks” is a ledger that easily fits into our devices and “Enlightens our Pocket”

We were able to implement all the essential requirements requested by our client, also added few desirable features to make the app intuitive and user friendly. Following are the features achieved in the app based on requirement given by the client:

Essential Requirements:

• Assign income.

• Assign Stable(Fixed) Expenses like Rent, Insurance, telephone bills.

• Assign budget.

• Update budget

• Add additional income.

• Enter Expenses category wise.

• Add time stamp to all the expenses.

• Add Payment method like cash, card, etc.

• Alert when monthly expense crosses the assigned limit.

• The application should work offline.

• Statistical representations of all the transaction with two charts for visualisation.

• Summarize monthly expenses in downloadable document.

• The expenses should be filtered based on date and category.

• Assign Threshold limits for category

• Create new category

• Delete an uneccesary expense.

• Provide “Back” button in every activity.

Additional features:

• Allows multiple user accounts in a device.

• Login with username and Password combination for entering the app provides enhaced safety.

• Basic application guide on first login.

• User Name display on homescreen provides more intuitive look.

• FAQ in the help option in menu provides detailed idea about the usability of the application.

• User can update his/her income, budget, fixed expenses at any time by going into “Update Detail” option in menu button.

• Incase of Exceeded budget situation, Alert comes whenever user goes to Homescreen.

• User can turn off alert message incase of exceeded budget situation.
